World Youth Day

Coordinating the pilgrimage to World Youth Day (WYD) 2023 in Lisbon was an exceptional opportunity
to form new leaders within our community. Young adults had the opportunity to join the Pope and
young people from around the world, fostering a sense of communion and belonging. This experience
was marked by joy and hope, strengthening the participants’ faith and commitment.

In communion with the Holy Father and with dioceses worldwide, Mission Jeunesse-Youth Ministry
organized local celebrations of diocesan World Youth Day, under the theme "Joyful in Hope", enabling
all young people in the Archdiocese of Montreal to celebrate WYD locally.
