including spiritual retreats, workshops on vulnerability, intercultural
ministry, and the distinction between medical assistance
in dying and spiritual accompaniment.
When a SASMAD volunteer visits my mother, it’s not just my mom who
receives help, but also my dad, my two sisters and me.
